Assisted Living Waiver Program

Westchester Villa is an Assisted Living Waiver Program Provider since it was launched in 2006.

The Assisted Living Waiver (ALW) is a Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waiver that was created by legislation that directed the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) to develop and implement the project to test the efficacy of assisted living as a Medi-Cal benefit.

Veteran Benefits

If you are a US veteran or the surviving spouse of a Veteran, you may be eligible to receive some assistance to help pay for the cost of personal care including assisted living.

Please visit the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website or contact your local VA facility to learn about your eligibility.

CalPERS provides a number of benefits and resources for retirement living. Their mission is to deliver retirement and health care benefits to members and their beneficiaries.
